What a year this should be for Error coins..

    The year started off with the FUN Convention in Fort Lauderdale, Florida during the middle of January. This show was HOT.. Regular Numismatics and coins in general are very hot.. Error coins are beyond that and how we can only describe as Sizzling. We did a tremendous amount of business at FUN and anything that was placed out that look good and had eye appeal sold . Whether it was the few hundred minor off center cents that we brought or a Walking Liberty Half Dollar on a Quarter planchet Sold. It didn't make much of a difference, Off Metals, Off Centers, Modern error coins or Older Type error coins It Sold.

    We were lucky enough to locate a 2004 Proof set with the Sacagawea proof Dollar having a huge Die crack from the Rim all the way up to Sacagawea's Babies Nose! we naturally nick-named it Babies Runny Nose. This Proof set will be featured on the Front cover of Numismatic News March 1st, 2005 issue. Take a look and start looking for yourself as with all the excitment with those plentiful Wisconsin quarter minor errors, that can be found by the hundreds on Ebay. This Proof Error on a Dollar coin should be worth MUCH more. We will be listing ours for sale this next week on our site.

    Now after nearly 6 weeks after the FUN Convention the Market continues to Sizzle. Sales have been strong and demands for new material even stronger. We've had several new customers attemting to build huge near impossible error sets! WE'RE so glad! that we purchased several fairly large collections over the past 2 years. We already added nearly 50 new GREAT errors to our website and will be adding another 100 the next week.

    The Long beach show just ended this past week end and from what we're told it was HOT.. The errors auctioned off sold for lots of $$$ and had huge amount of bidders that included myself..Seemed like No matter how high I bid I was OUT Bid!

    This is an amazing market and just about everything as increased tremendously in price. Till next month
