What's HOT and What's NOT!!

Caps & Bonded coins have been receiving a lot of attention.
Reverse caps, especially those that are double struck are gaining real strength. A PCGS 65 example sold on Ebay for $212. That's solid ground.
Off metals are still forging ahead as the leader in this Bull market and many have gone up 50%. Nickel on Cents are breaking into the $300. Range, Cents on Dimes, $400.

Quarter, Half dollars and Dollar off metals are much higher, seems like if you want one of those higher denomination off metals! You either pay the dealers price or someone else will.. 1k-2k-3k or more..

Silver cents are moving up to the $1,600- 2k category (BU examples); earlier 1950' dates can even be higher.
Type coin off metals are on the rise, Franklin ½$ on 25c planchet (BU) nearing 2k, on a cent 4-6k. Liberty Nickels on a cent planchet 4-5k and rapidly rising, Buffalo nickels on cents $3,800 -5k for BU examples and these are also rising. There seems like there's NO boundaries for Type coin errors as dealers and collectors realize how really rare these are! Especially in higher grades. As far as that goes, Type coins have been selling and trading between dealers at new heights. Especially better eye appealing Type errors like Bust half $'s, Seated error coins, Indian cent errors , Buffalo 5c errors, Standing & Walking Liberty series, Franklin half $'s, Ike $'s and major SBA $ errors. It's hard to think of ANY Type error series that's NOT HOT!!

A 1965 transitional cent struck on a silver (1964) dime planchet sold for 8k, that's up considerably from what they use to sell for (3k), nearly 166%.
A 1864 Two cent cap PCGS MS 65 sold in auction for 15k, Several Off Center Buffalo nickels 10-15% off center (Unc) sold at auction for approx. $850. each. We could go on and on! Though we just mentioned some of the sales that needed to be mentioned.

What do we like? Besides everything we mentioned! Type coin series that are often over looked, like: 1943 steel Cent errors, War Nickel errors (1942-45), Early Lincoln Cent off centers in BU (1909-1950), Indian Cents, Buffalo 5c, Franklin ½ dollars and Ike errors. GEE! Come to think of it... There's NOT much we don't like.
