Watch the Major Auctions

Want to know what the error market or any other numismatic market is doing? Keep track of the major numismatic auctions during the year, a good many of the nation's collectors buy through the auction house's yearly auctions. Most of these auction companies are viewable on the Internet and prices on past auctions can also be obtained on most of their sites.

Tracking these auctions can give you clear insights on what errors are being sought after and at what prices! If you actually attend some of these auctions, you can see who is bidding on the coins, collectors, dealers or dealers bidding for a collector.

A few of the upcoming error auctions are Bowers & Merena in Sept. 2002 (Beverly Hills, CA), Superior and Heritage in late Sept (at about the time of the Long Beach show). Also the Baltimore show later this year will have auctions and several at the FUN show January 2003. Do a little research... it will pay off... BIG
