After speaking to several error coin dealers and collectors about the January 2001 FUN show, "Spectacular" was the most typical answer received.

   The FUN convention is one of the largest coin shows held annually in the US. It is held in Orlando, Florida, and is sponsored by the Florida United Numismatists Club, or "FUN" for short.

  Error coins were being purchased and sold on the bourse floor at an extremely fast pace. "HOT" is what most described the error coin market as being! Many dealers could not purchase enough new error coin material to replace the error coins they had already sold.

   Unfortunately we had to miss this FUN convention, it is the first we have missed in 15 years. We will be there next year, however, looking to make up for lost time.
