U.S. Mint Tightening Security

Tighter measures being applied to the Mints Security As reported by Coin World, the U.S. Mint seems to searching the Mint employees work stations, lockers, and other locations that error coins may be secreted. The unscheduled search is an apparent new tool the mint is using to discourage employees of intentionally making errors or stealing them! Mint police, an employee and a Union rep. canvass the mint looking for Errors in places they should not be! This is just anther step to stem the flow of errors that may be getting out

illegally. The error hobby has noticed a big reduction of errors getting into the market place since the mint has tightened its security measures this past year. As supply and demand dictates, with less coming out! the higher we can expect prices to go.. We can only hope the Mint lets some get out in bags and the new bins! Then again! I've never known a perfectly run Gov't agency.. Have you?
