What's HOT What's NOT
Type coin errors (hot, expecially in high grades) Buffalo Nickels and Indian Cents. IKE and Sac Dollars are active, wrong metals, especially those struck on Aluminum Planchets. Expect dated fold-overs, deep caps and mated pairs to increase in price as well as Major Franklin Half Dollar errors.
State Quarter missing clad layers are still hot! mostly because of the lack of any new State Quarter material coming out. State Quarters off-metals are steaming, I just saw a TN State Quarter struck on a Nickel Planchet sell for over $3000, now that's a hot market. Double dies and RPM's seem slow and many of the smaller varieties might be good buys here! But stay with the majors, and not ones that require a microscope to see. Hope to have much more for you next month, as we try to get back to normal with our newsletters. Thanks for visiting us,
Rich.
