NOT many collectors admit it.. But they have been making nice profits if they've been selling their error collection in the past year or so! Error coin prices have moved up that MUCH! Supplies (errors) are hard to find, especially better material, in high grade. So, dealers have been raising they're "BUY" prices to try to get to some of these old time collections out there! This has meant a windfall of profits for those collector that collected errors 2, 5 & 10 years and more ago.. NOT many collectors in ANY numismatic market can state that! Errors have been the BIGGEST profit producing collectable in the Numismatic hobby for many decades. In some instances, profits have reached the "1,000%" level and while others have also reached many of hundreds of percent profit. It's nice to see everyone making (collector & dealer alike) a fair profit on their coins..
